Recursive Doodling with Strangely Attractive Orbitals

Each variation is created by changing some constants used by the recursive function that generates these pictures. There are 9 different functions to play with. The darker the dot, the more common it occurs.

You can interact with the drawing object the following ways:

  • Press 1 to 9 to change the formula used to draw the points (there are 9 variations to choose from)
  • Type "X" to randomise the constants
  • Press the Space key to cycle through some presets
  • Click and drag to create rect to 'zoom' into. Press the shift key while holding down the mouse to move the rectangle rather than resize it.
  • Press "Z" to zoom back out
  • Press "C" to capture the current settings to a 'preset' (Author mode only)
