I have seen your code. you used 'exitFrame'. How about use the 'prepareFrame'. then it will be much faster.
because 'exitFrame' is work on view Window, but 'prepareFrame' is work on document Window.
if you try to draw something on the stage many times then you will see what is different.
you have set 999 frames. If you change the prepareFrame instade of the exitframe, then 30 frame is enough...

One advantage of painting directly to the stage is that it is quicker than painting to a member (bitmap cast members have the overhead of 'members' -- all the various properties and so on).
